Date(s) 10th November 2010; 12pm - 6pm
In the light of the spending review announcements last week, education has been broadly protected. But what opportunities will there be for innovation in schools formal and informal education?
This Second Wednesday event brings speakers from industry and education to debate these new opportunities.
Jan Pulsford will talk about how music and virtual worlds can be used to engage children with autism.
Dr Simon Scarle will demonstrate a game aimed at decreasing childhood obesity through more active game engagements and Prof Sara de Freitas will present early findings from an evaluation of a massively multiplayer online game for children aged 11-13.
