The aim of this IDM (Interactive Digital Media project) is to carry out a mapping of the Serious Games Industry within the UK, and take a global snap shot to map where the UK fits into the worldwide perspective.

With just under 50% of Scottish employers stating that school leavers are not prepared enough for work in terms of their core skills, including: team work, communication and problem solving (Future Skills Scotland, 2004) this does not portray a positive image of teh Scottish Education market in terms of developing core skills at school level.
